What is DoorLoop?
DoorLoop is a property management platform used by landlords and property management companies to run their operations — leasing, maintenance, accounting, and communication. As part of that platform, property managers and landlords give tenants access to a dedicated portal where they can pay rent, submit maintenance requests, review lease details, and message their management team.
How do I pay rent through DoorLoop?
Once your property manager has activated your account, you can submit rent payments online via ACH, credit card, debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and CashPayments Powered By Western Union.
Is my personal & payment information safe?
Absolutely. DoorLoop protects your data with bank-level encryption and security protocols. Your personal and financial details are never exposed to outside parties.
Do I need to buy DoorLoop to use it as a tenant?
No. DoorLoop is purchased and managed by your landlord or property manager to run their business. Tenants are given access to the built-in tenant portal as part of that setup — there's nothing for you to buy, install, or configure on your own.
Can I submit maintenance requests through DoorLoop?
Yes. You can file a detailed service request directly in the portal — attach photos, add notes, and describe the issue. Your request gets sent straight to the appropriate maintenance contact, and you'll see status updates as the work progresses.
How do I get access to DoorLoop as a tenant?
Your property manager or landlord will send you an email invitation to create your account. Once registered, you can log in anytime to handle your payments, check lease information, file service requests, or reach out to your management team. If you haven't received an invite yet, contact your property manager directly to request one. DoorLoop is only available to tenants if their property manager or landlord is currently a customer.
