Can messages in the portal have an expiration date?

Yes! As you create an announcement, you can set a date on which it will automatically expire.

What is voice drop?

Voice drop allows you to type your message, and have it call your tenants or owners and speak the message to them. If they don't answer, it will not leave a voicemail. If you want to try it for free, login to DoorLoop, go to Announcements > New Announcement and select “Send Now By Voice Message”.

How much does it cost to send announcements?

Sending emails and posting messages in the tenant or owner portal are free. Text and voice messages cost $0.02 each (or one communication credit per message sent). Your DoorLoop account comes pre-loaded with 100 communication credits for free for you to try. Each credit costs $0.02. When you run out of credits, you will be topped off with 500 more credits for only $10.

Can announcements leave voicemails?

No, but you can use voice drop to send audio messages to your tenants by phone. If your tenant answers the phone call, they will hear the voice drop message.
