Can messages in the portal have an expiration date?

Yes! As you create an announcement, you can set a date on which it will automatically expire.

How does the voice drop work?

Simply go to Announcements > New Announcement. On Step 2 of creating the announcement, toggle “Send Now By Voice Message” on. Your tenant will receive the audio message via a phone call to the primary phone number they have on file. Voice drop does not leave voicemails.

How much does it cost to send announcements?

Emails and postings within your tenant portal are free. Text and voice messages cost one communication credit per message sent. Your DoorLoop account comes pre-loaded with 100 communication credits. Each credit costs $0.02. Each time you run out of credits, you will be charged $10 for an additional 500 credits.

Can announcements leave voicemails?

No, but you can use voice drop to send audio messages to your tenants by phone. If your tenant answers the phone call, they will hear the voice drop message.
