Why did you become a property manager?

Why did I become a property manager? Well, actually I'm more of a mortgage manager than I am a property manager. We do use it, DoorLoop, for our short term rentals and it works great and we've got seven of those. And then we also use them for collecting our mortgage payments and at $2 and $3 a door, that is a bargain compared to the other software that's out there.

How were you managing rentals and payments before DoorLoop?

Before using DoorLoop, I had tried a lot of different software platforms. Over the 42 years I've been in business, I've tried almost everything there was out there. And as my business progressed, I had many, many applications that I didn't use in those other softwares. So when I found DoorLoop and it was just simply an internet search a few months ago, and the tutorial showed me that this application would help me in my business, and it certainly has.

What is your favorite DoorLoop feature?

Well, number one, I don't need the people. At certain pieces of the business, automation took their place. What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
