I couldn't imagine anything being much better than Door Loop.

My name's Kevin Nickell. We're located in Hanford, California. The name of our company is Esteem Land Company. We specialize in mostly general contracting. We're generally a contractor by trade, but over the years we've managed to acquire a lot of commercial real estate, so now we've evolved into commercial real estate mostly, and now we're falling into commercial management.

How many units do you have in your portfolio?

In our portfolio, we currently have between 35 and 40 units. We became a property manager when we started purchasing properties. We had purchased properties and started acquiring tenants. We've manifested into what we do now, which is commercial property management.

Where did you hear about DoorLoop?

First time I heard about DoorLoop was online, I started looking online, looking on the computer, doing internet search. Mostly Google, started with Google. There was a lot of property management companies. Weeding through the different management companies and looking at the reviews and so forth, then chose DoorLoop.

Why did you choose DoorLoop?

What made me choose DoorLoop was mostly the reviews. The user-friendly version of DoorLoop really intrigued me and got me interested in selecting DoorLoop.

How did you do things before DoorLoop?

Problems we had before using the software, having tenants come in manually, writing invoices and so forth, and using DoorLoop is taking that away.

What is your favorite DoorLoop feature?

My favorite feature of DoorLoop is definitely the rent collection, that gives the ability to the tenants so they can pay their rent online directly. I don't have to interact with them. It's done all automated and it's just an amazing system. On a scale of one to 10, using DoorLoop and with the onboarding system and setting up with them, I would definitely give them a 10. Without a doubt. The team was amazing. They were very helpful. They walked me through the entire process from beginning to end, and the support afterwards was amazing.

What changed after you started using DoorLoop?

The things that changed when we started using DoorLoop, rent collection, the communication with tenants, reminders for rent, and of course, like I said before, the rent collection is one of my favorite. If I could offer advice to anybody in the industry with property management software, I would say, "Don't be closed-minded." Open your options to other opportunities that are out there in software. I know software can be difficult to take on, but with the DoorLoop system, I would say look into management software for sure, it will change your life. It'll make your life a lot easier.
