The Role

We are looking for a full-time video editor who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is able to consistently deliver the highest-quality content across various platforms.

We are open to hiring editors in any country. If you are not legally authorized to work in the United States, you are welcome to work with us as an independent contractor on an hourly rate.

In this role, you will:

Work alongside our Video Content Creators to edit engaging videos in adherence to DoorLoop's brand guidelines, voice, pacing, and standards of quality.
Consistently AB test visual elements, including thumbnails, title cards, banners, and more in order to optimize viewer retention and engagement.
Implement edits and constructive feedback in a timely manner, all while being encouraged to contribute your own ideas and creativity to each video.
Keep audiences entertained, engaged, and informed as the editor and producer for hundreds of videos about the real estate industry.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience with video production and editing.
Expert in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Adept at video editing for various social media platforms, especially YouTube.
Ability to meet and exceed fast-paced deadlines while delivering high-quality content
Portfolio of content to review
Proficient in color grading and sound design.
Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Strong understanding of video codecs and exporting for various platforms.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Bonus Points

Any previous experience posting professional-quality videos on multiple social media platforms.
Any experience in SaaS, or in the real estate or property management industry, is a plus.
Speaking and writing in Spanish is a plus, but not necessary.

Additional Information

You will work directly with our CMO and co-founder, David Bitton, to come up with video concepts and broaden DoorLoop’s reach.

This role is available for international candidates on a freelance basis at $15/hour at a minimum of 40 hours a week. You are welcome to work as many hours as you'd like.
